I don't even mind paying for a repair, I just want my machine fixed and 7 weeks later I still do not even have an ETA on the repair.
I seriously believe their extended warranties are just an outright scam. They also seem to be lying to me because nobody can really give me a straight answer on what steps they've actually taken to resolve my issue. It was an AOC 23. The laptop hinge broke for indeterminate causes (possibly accidental damage, possible manufacturer warranty covered failure). I purchased an extremely high end gaming device ($3500+) from Micro Center last year, including purchasing an additional warranty that covered accidental damage.
